Frequently Asked
Questions

How do I pay for lessons?

Payment is due at the beginning of the month and can be made via Zelle or Venmo. Additionally, each bill covers 4 lessons. Please note that Venmo payments will incur an added service fee. You can also view Pricing Information for more details.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you decide you no longer want to continue lessons, we ask that you complete the month you were billed. We do not issue refunds for lessons canceled after the billing of that month. We understand that interests may change or situations arise. Please let us know with enough advance notice and we will do what we can to accommodate your needs.

What do I need for lessons?

To make the most of your lessons, ensure you have a keyboard with at least 60 weighted keys and a pedal, or a well-tuned piano. Of course, we’ll provide some sheet music where allowed by copyright, and any materials required for purchase will be through an Amazon link.

Are there performance opportunities?

Of course! We love celebrating our students’ progress, and we offer optional recitals twice a year, typically in May and December. In time, we’ll share location details closer to the date, ensuring you have all the information you need to shine on stage.

What age range do you teach?

Unlike some studios, our teaching is open to everyone, from 6-year-olds to seniors. That is, we firmly believe that age is no barrier to learning an instrument, and we’re here to support and guide students of all ages on their musical journey.

What styles of music do you cover?

While we have a strong foundation in classical training, we also embrace a wide array of musical styles to match each student’s interests and abilities. In short, our goal is to empower our students to read music and enable them to play the pieces they love with confidence and joy.

Where do lessons take place?

We’ve designed our in-home lessons to be flexible and accommodating. Therefore, we come to your home for lessons, making it easier for those with busy schedules to enjoy the benefits of music education. We recently began offering Tuesday lessons in our private studio. Book a lesson
